A Multi-Generation Goldendoodle is a cross between two Goldendoodles. This combination makes a very healthy hybrid. We cannot guarantee coat / curl for any of our dogs, but generally speaking, these have a fairly consistent curly coat.

The Goldendoodle has become the best blend of purebred Golden Retrievers and Poodles, forming what is referred to as hybrid vigor. These are crossbred together and the resulting puppies tend to be healthier than either purebred parent. This is because purebred dogs tend to have more genetically transferred disorders (the most common being hip dysplasia, eye and thyroid issues), because in breeding dogs of the same breed, more recessive genes are passed along. Both our dogs have been DNA tested and are free of any genetic abnormality that can be seen in Golden Retrievers or Poodles. Additionally, our puppies have been bred and raised with a special curriculum for having the temperament for training as service dogs.

Goldendoodles are the perfect family pet. They get along well with children and crave human attention. They are quick to learn new things as they are eager to please their human friends. Goldendoodles should be exercised daily in some manner as they love to be active and can find mischief if bored or left alone for too long. Consistent grooming is also something to consider as their hair needs to be brushed and cut regularly to prevent matting and keep it soft. Grooming can be expensive!

Fully grown, our medium sized Goldendoodles range in weight between 25 pounds to 40 pounds, averaging around 16-20 inches in height.
