Amberdoodle Application Process

We want to get to know the families and individuals who adopt our puppies to ensure they go to homes where they are well cared for. We want you to understand our expectations before you proceed with our application process.

Here is what we expect of prospective owners:

  • Your home has 0-1 dogs as of present. We do not send our puppies to homes with more than 1 dog already living there so they get the training, attention, and care they need.

  • You agree to spay or neuter your puppy between 6 and 12 months of age.

  • You agree to have your puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of receipt.

  • Send a photo of your dog when they are one year old to maintain the Health Guarantee. We want to ensure the puppy has not been neglected in any manner and has received proper veterinary care.

  • Regular exercise must be offered to the puppy and preventative care and shots given.

  • Puppy must be taken to socialization class after reaching 14 weeks of age.

  • The puppy shall not be purchased for resale.

Process:

  1. If you meet the expectations above, please submit your online application.

  2. We are creating a master list to ensure no one is left out. The master list allows us to keep track of your place in line and also what preferences you may have. If you apply and your preferences match with a current or upcoming puppy/litter with availability we will offer you that puppy/place on the litter.

  3. Once accepted, send in a deposit of $1,200 to reserve your spot for the litter. The remaining amount will be due by the puppies' 5th week.

  4. Owners pick their puppy by scheduled appointment in the order the deposits are placed when puppies are 8 weeks old because we highly value your match with their personality & temperament. At this time, owners will take their puppy home. Puppies are sent home with a food sample, health and vaccination record, a scent of the litter bandana, and information about potty training, grooming, etc.

AMBERDOODLE DISTINCTIVE:   Please note we cannot guarantee you a specific gender, coat type or color marking. The higher you are in "picking order" the better your chances for your preference.
